About Me
Vivian was born and raised in Taiwan. There, she received a Master Degree of Art and worked as an art event organizer as well as a Chinese Opera performer. Before getting married, her dream was to become a shining opera star on the stage. She devoted all her time to the traditional performing arts. A career in real estate never crossed her mind. Supporting Chinese culture was her only mission.
Vivian met and married Colin, a Canadian, and moved to Calgary in 1998. After 2 months, not knowing her way around having never seen or driven in snow, Vivian decided that she needed to learn more about her new home and enrolled in the Real Estate course to get her license. Within three months, Vivian proved to be successful. She consistently became a Top Producer in an office of over 120 realtors in her first year. Vivian is a two time recipient of the prestigious Million Dollar Club.
Vivian’s reputation as a sincere, hard working, determined realtor has grown through the years with most of her business coming from the referrals of satisfied clients. If you say “drama is not related to real estate” Vivian will disagree. When Vivian plays a role on the stage, she never tries to “act” but becomes the role by changing her point of view. When helping her sellers or buyers, Vivian just naturally puts herself in their shoes. Vivian also uses her artistic background and a strong desire to help serve her clients better. Before putting a house on the market, Vivian often gives suggestions on how to redecorate or make simple improvements to increase the selling value.
Vivian started as a newcomer and has been successful with newcomers as well as native Canadians. She understands the feeling of being a stranger in a new city and still in culture shock. She treats newcomers with honesty and provides informational support. If you ask previous customers why they stick with her, they will say, “Vivian treats me more like a trustful friend than a client.”
